Why use it

Reply in one tap. Open the missed call in the history and send your template with a single tap.

You decide case by case

You choose who to reply to and when. Useful if you prefer to keep a hand on every message rather than automate everything.

You choose · 3 calls to handle

It all starts from history

Missed calls are listed with the time and the contact name when known. You find the one you want without digging through the phone's call log.

Missed call

Your template ready to go

The suggested message uses your template and the contact's first name. Nothing to retype and no number to copy.

Template pre-filled

Free, no commitment

Manual reply stays available even without a subscription. You can try CallReply on your real calls before deciding anything.

No subscription needed

Reply in three taps

  1. 01 Open the history In the app, the history lists missed calls and texts already sent, newest first, with a clear status for each one.
  2. 02 Tap the missed call The card shows the number, the time, the contact name and the planned message.
  3. 03 Send the reply One tap is enough. The text leaves from your number and its status is added to the history.

How is it different from the automatic reply?

The automatic reply sends the text with no action from you, shortly after each missed or rejected call. Manual reply waits for your decision: nothing goes out until you tap the button. Both use the same template, the same history and the same safeguards, such as the STOP list. Many people start with manual reply to see how their customers respond, then switch on the automatic mode once they are happy with the message. You can also keep manual reply for the days when automatic sending is off.

Why reply by text rather than call back?

Calling back straight away is not always possible: you are leaving a meeting, someone else is waiting, you are somewhere noisy. A short text reassures the caller and buys you time. They know you saw their call, they can explain what they need in writing, and you call back customers later in better conditions, at a time you choose.

Who is it for?

For people discovering CallReply who want to see it work on their own calls before subscribing. Manual reply uses the same Android app, the same history and the same message template. You see for real how your customers react to a text, with no commitment and no time limit on this feature. If you later subscribe, nothing changes in your settings: you simply switch on automatic sending.

For professionals who receive very varied calls and prefer to filter: an estate agent who does not want to answer cold callers, a therapist sorting calls between sessions, a repair technician who also gets personal calls. You keep full control while saving the time spent typing and copying numbers.

Good to know

A reply to a contact

Even sent by hand, this text answers someone who called you, so it is not prospecting. Keep it informational. Health and legal professionals should put no confidential details in the message, just a simple I will call you back.

The STOP list still applies

A number on the STOP list receives nothing, even when you send manually. It is a safety net if you tap the wrong call by mistake. The list can be edited on the phone or in the web space.

Your data

The text leaves from your phone, not through a third party. The history is hosted in France, with retention periods set out in the privacy policy. You can request export or erasure from My data.

Hidden numbers

A withheld call appears in the history, but the reply button is not available: there is no number to send the text to.

Frequently asked questions

Is manual reply really free?

Yes. It works even without a subscription. The subscription adds the automatic reply and all the other features. The text itself is sent through your mobile plan, like any other message.

Can I edit the text before sending?

The suggested message is your template, with the contact's first name when known. To change the wording, edit the template in Templates and settings; it will apply to the next sends.

Does the one-text-per-day limit apply?

Your account rules stay active. If a number has already had a reply today, the history says so, which saves you from sending the same message twice to the same person.

Does it work on iPhone?

On iPhone it works differently, since iOS does not let apps send a text on their own. Simple mode opens Messages with your reply pre-filled and you tap Send. The iPhone page explains how.
