Call and SMS history so you know who called and who got what

Every missed call and every text CallReply sends leaves a timestamped record, with the contact's name when it is known. At any moment you can see who is waiting for a call back and why a message went out, or did not.

What you see at a glance

Who got what. Every call and every text leaves a timestamped record, with its status and reason.

One line per event

Missed call, rejected call, SMS sent: each event shows up with its date and time. You can rebuild your day without digging through the phone's call log.

Call rejected · Text sent

The status of each text

Sent, delivered or failed: the status updates when the carrier confirms delivery. You know whether the customer actually received your automatic reply.

Sent · Delivered

Why a text was not sent

When no SMS goes out, the history tells you why: number on the STOP list, daily cap reached, number already answered today. Nothing is left unexplained.

Not sent: STOP · Daily cap reached

Filters on the web

In your client space, filter by date, by number or by event type. Finding a supplier's call from last Tuesday takes a few seconds.

Filter: Tuesday

How to use the history

  1. 01 Open the History tab In the Android app, the latest events appear at the top. The same list is available in your web space.
  2. 02 Spot calls with no reply A missed call with no text attached stands out straight away, with the reason shown next to it.
  3. 03 Reply by hand if needed Tap the call to send a manual reply in one tap, from your own number. This feature stays free, even without a subscription.
  4. 04 Filter from your computer On the web, combine date, number and event type to plan the day's call backs.

What exactly is in a history line?

Each line shows the time of the missed call, the number and, if the person is in your address book, their name. Then comes what happened to the text: sent, delivered by the carrier, failed, or not sent with a reason. The reasons match the guardrails you set: number on the STOP list, daily cap reached, minimum spacing between two sends, or a number that already received a message today. Withheld numbers are listed too, but without an SMS, since there is no number to reply to.

Why do the phone and the web show the same thing?

The Android app sends each event to your client space. You read the same history on your phone during the day and on your computer in the evening, with no export or copying. That helps when someone else handles call backs: from the office they can see which customers got an automatic SMS reply and which are still waiting for a call. On the web, filters by date, number and event type make searching easier than on a small screen.

How long is the history kept?

Data is hosted in France and each kind of data has a retention period set out in the privacy policy. Once that period ends, the history keeps dates and statuses for your statistics, but no longer the phone numbers. You can ask for an export or for erasure of your data at any time from the “My data” section of the client space. The texts themselves go out from your phone, not from a third-party platform.

Who is it for?

For self-employed people who call customers back at the end of the day. Instead of scrolling through the call log and guessing who already got an answer, you open the CallReply history: missed calls are listed with the status of each text, and you know who to call back first. A plumber, a hairdresser or a consultant saves a sorting session every evening.

For small teams where one person answers the phone and another handles follow-up. The history shared between the app and the web space avoids duplicate calls: everyone sees the same events with the same statuses. If a customer says they never got a message, you can check in seconds whether the text was delivered, failed or held back by a guardrail.

Good to know

A reply, not marketing

The text answers someone who just called you: it follows up on their contact, it is not prospecting. Keep it informational, with your business name and when you will call back. If you add a commercial offer, marketing rules apply, as described in the French data protection authority (CNIL) guidance.

The STOP list in the history

A number on the STOP list never receives a text. The call stays visible in the history marked STOP, so you know it happened. You can edit this list from the phone or from the web space.

Your data

The history is hosted in France. Each kind of data has its retention period, after which only dates and statuses remain. Export and erasure are requested from “My data”. Contact names are synced only with your explicit consent.

Withheld numbers

A call from a withheld number appears in the history, but no text can be sent: there is no number to send it to. If you get many of these calls, consider stating your call-back number in your voicemail greeting.

Frequently asked questions

Does the history work if my phone was switched off?

Yes. On restart, CallReply reads the call log from the last point it processed. Calls missed while the phone was off are added to the history, and texts go out according to your settings and guardrails.

Can I see the history without a subscription?

Yes, the part of the last 7 days, in the app and in the client space, with free manual reply. The subscription gives the whole history, the statistics and automatic or scheduled sending; you can cancel it at any time from the app.

What does the “failed” status mean?

The carrier could not deliver the text: a landline, an inactive line or a network problem. You can call the person or send them a message by hand from the history.

Can I export my history?

Yes. From the “My data” section of the client space, you can request an export of your data. You can also request its erasure.
