CallReply

Terms of use and sale

Last updated: 2026-10-24

1. Service

CallReply is an Android application with a companion web area that detects your phone's missed and rejected calls and automatically sends follow-up texts from your own number, according to the rules you configure (templates, daily cap, STOP list, call types).

2. Account

Accounts are created from the app and require verifying your number with an SMS code. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

3. Subscription and payment

Automatic sending requires a subscription (monthly or yearly), purchased from the app. Subscriptions renew automatically; the current price is shown before any payment. A subscription covers one phone number only, the one verified by SMS code: automatic replies leave from that number only, from one active phone at a time (signing in on another phone transfers it). Changing the number is done from the app or the web space, with a code sent to the new number. The free trial belongs to the number: a number that already had one gets no other.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the app. Access remains active until the end of the paid period, without pro-rata refund. An expired subscription suspends automatic sending but keeps your account and history.

5. Your obligations

You undertake to use CallReply in compliance with applicable communications regulations (in particular: no unsolicited marketing messages, honoring every STOP request, using your own number). Texts are sent from your phone, under your responsibility, and may be billed by your carrier under your plan.

6. Use of text messages

CallReply is only for answering the people who called your number: every text is an answer to a call received. Marketing and advertising through CallReply are forbidden; a message that looks like it (a figure off, a promo code, a special offer…) is refused when saved. You remain responsible for the content of your messages and for honouring objections: from the app or the web space, you block the number of anyone who no longer wishes to receive messages. For this data, CallReply acts as a processor, on your behalf. CallReply may suspend the sending of an account's messages in case of abuse.

7. Liability

CallReply depends on features provided by Android and your carrier: we do not guarantee delivery of every SMS, nor detection where the system restricts the app (denied permissions, aggressive battery optimizations). The service is provided "as is", on a best-effort basis.

8. How long we keep your data

Your data is kept for a period specific to each purpose, set out in the privacy policy: 12 months for the numbers in your history, the length of the subscription and then 5 years for your account, 10 years for billing under article L123-22 of the French commercial code. Cancelling the subscription does not delete the account; you may ask for that at any time from "My data", and it is then immediate and final.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Competent jurisdiction: (to be completed).
